Angstrad (Magyar)
Öregem, neked már nincs sorsod.
Felejtsd el az életet.
Nem a boldogság a cél.
Dolgozd le a maradékot,
és tűnj el, amint csak lehet.
Belenéztem a rezzenéstelen
pupillába. Láttam, amit nem
akartam. Mindenütt halottak,
és romok. Ez nem az, és ez
sem az. Veletek én már nem
vagyok.

Angstrad (Angol)
Old chap, for you there is no future left.
Forget life.
Happiness is not the goal.
Do your work for the time that is remaining,
then vanish just as soon as possible.
I looked into your unblinking
pupil. Saw what I did not
want. Everywhere the dead
and ruins. This is not that, and this
is also not. With you I am
no longer.
Here still because of honour
only. The armament of angels
is being prepared.
The centuries wear off my countenance.

*Angstrad (wheel of angst). The expression was created by Jakob Böhme (1575-1624), German Christian mystic and Lutheran Theologian for his theory, according to which the basis of existence is a growing angst, rising along a spiral path, which starts from the bottom and continually regenerates, during which it swirls whirlpool-like, goes around like a wheel, and rises, transforming, and intensifying into the wheel of Glory, in Joy, Freedom, and the love of God.
