Studied education of adults at the Faculty of Arts at the Comenius University in Bratislava. 1989 – 1996 worked as an editor at Smena publishing, from 1998 worked in the monthly magazine OS and as editor of the monthly magazine Fragment. Nowadays he works as editor at the Kalligram publishing. Debuted in 1985 with the anthology of poems Máš, čo nemáš. In his works he focuses on discovering a analysis of cotradiction of the reality and human being. He also focuses on translation of Polish, Slovenian, Serbian and Croatian literature - cca 60 books.
