Marcové zariekanie (Slovak)

Nech vypovie sneh
v ihliciach borovice,
čo je ešte objatím...
Nech sú zahrnuté v správach aj slnečné noci!
Nech ticho na nás nezabúda,
ako my nezabúdame na plamienok
ponechaný v jaskyni!

Píšem vám z budúceho prázdna
vklineného už do tejto chvíle a z neistého
miesta na mapách:
Tu zariekam vetristú noc,
aby nezhášala naše sviece,
ke
ď už marcové hviezdy musia vyšumieť.

March incantation (English)

Let the snow say
in the needles of a pine
what is still an embrace...
Let sunny nights also be included in the news!
Let the silence not forget us
as we do not forget a little flame
left in a cave!

I write to you from a future emptiness
already fixed in this moment and from an uncertain
place on the maps:
Here I conjure the windy night
not to snuff out our candles
when the March stars must fizz out.
