Biography
poet and translatorBorn 10 April 1935 in Kočovce. He studied librarianship and Slovak at Comenius University in Bratislava. He worked as an editor and later as the chief editor in the literary monthly Mladá tvorba. From 1971 he worked as an editor and from 1989 as the chief editor of the Slovenský spisovateľ publishing house. He lives in Bratislava.
