Venit summa dies... (Hungarian)

Eljön mindenkinek a pillanat,
Mikor egészen egyedül marad,
Mikor mellette senki, semmi más
És nem segít se átok, sem sirás.

Az élet távol, a halál közel,
Bűnt, balgaságot semmi sem föd el,
Mikor az ember az Írás szerint
Megméretik és megítéltetik.

Eltűnnek a boldog káprázatok,
Minden, mi az életnek színt adott.
Kialszik a remények csillaga
S a lélek van a pusztában maga.

Venit summa dies… (English)

For everyone the moment will arrive
When he's forsaken, left alone to strive,
When there is no one by him any more
And neither tears nor curses change the score.

Life is so far and death so very near,
All foolish and all hidden sins appear,
Then man is called, and though he's ill equipped,
Measured he stands for judgment true to Script.

Happy illusions vanish, are no more,
As other things that coloured life before.
The star of hope, its light is gone, erased:
Leaving a soul existing on the waste.
