Biography

1972 (4th June) born in Kolozsvár (Cluj Napoca, Romania)
1984-1986 studies at István Báthori Líceum
1987 emigrates to Hungary with her family, attends grammar school in Szombathely
1990-1995 graduates in Hungarian and English Literature and Linguistics from ELTE University, Budapest; member of the József Eötvös Collégium
1998-2001 PhD studies at the English Renaissance and Baroque School of ELTE English-American Institute; lectures for several semesters at Eötvös Collegium
2000-2004 with fellow-poets, leads poetry translation workshops for the British Council

Her prizes include:
Sándor Petőfi Prize (1996), Tibor Déry Award (2000), Attila József Prize (2002), Vackor Prize (2003), Nizzean Pebble Prize (2003), Zoltán Zelk Prize (2004)
